A leisurely stroll through attractive wine yards is broken up by visits to local Buschenschanken, a unique Styrian invention, that offers cold home made food as well as wine from the vineyard and a selection of non alcoholic drinks. |

Styria offers an excellent selection of restaurants serving local and international food. It is famous for its Styrian Buschenschanken. The region also offers some of the best chestnuts. Special festivals celebrating the chestnuts and the wine harvest are taking place in autumn. Abel's Wirtshaus, a local restaurant near Leutschach, offers traditional Austrian cuisine in an attractive surrounding. |
