Langkawi is
one of Malaysia's best known holiday destinations with beautiful
beaches and top resorts. The main town is Kuah, which is
located on the southeastern side of the island. It has emerged from
a small village to a very busy town with a good selection of hotels,
restaurants, shopping centres, and handicraft centres. |

The island offers very nice beaches. The most famous being Datai Bay, Pantai Kok, and Pantai Rhu. It also has a very attractive flora and fauna, waterfalls, caves, hot springs, that make it a very nice holiday destination. Most of the resorts are located at one of the island's main beaches. |

Langkawi's best diving is found at Pulau Payar Marine Park. The marine park is located South East of Langkawi main island, where all the resorts are located. The coral consists of hard and soft coral. There are several small ship wrecks around Pulau Kaca. |
