Kalimantan forms the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo. Off its coast there are some diving sites, however it is more famous for its jungles and many different ethnic groups. KALIMANTAN's DIVE SITES
 

WEST KALIMANTAN

Batu Payung Beach
White sandy beach with some stunning rock formations. Good diving and water skiing opportunities. About 23 km from Singkawang City (by four-wheel drive vehicle).

Randayan Island
It takes 2 hours to get from Pasir Panjang Beach to Randayan Island by motor boat or speed boat. This island has a beautiful beach with clear and clean water and is marvelous for diving.

EAST KALIMANTAN

Derawan Island is around 3 hours by boat from Tanjung Redep. There are a number of rare species of turtles.
